The roots, 2025
A couple of cars became a shared obsession.
The roots of Grass Roots Drift Hub started in 2025 as a small group of friends getting together to hobble together a couple of drift cars to attempt to make a couple of laps at the nearest drift track.
It only took one event before being hooked. Afterwards all spare time was spent making improvements to the cars before the next event.
With budget being in mind, it became clear there was not good access to track-tested parts that kept cost in mind. Grass Roots Drift Hub aims to bring those options to the community so drivers can focus on more seat time and a car that performs exactly as expected.
